KATHY HOCHUL RAISES MORE THAN $515,000 IN SECOND QUARTER OF 2012

Over The Last 13 Months Hochul Has Raised Nearly $3 Million

NEW YORK'S 27th CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT - Congresswoman Kathy Hochul has raised $516,718 in the second quarter of 2012. In the report, filed with the Federal Elections Commission today, Hochul reported contributions from more than 2,000 individual donors.

The campaign has now raised more than $1.5 million towards the 2012 election, and since she kicked off her special election campaign last spring Hochul has raised nearly $3 million.

"After raising more than half-a-million dollars, Kathy Hochul has both the independent record and the resources to run a strong campaign this fall," said Frank Thomas, Hochul’s campaign manager. "The fact that this money came from thousands of individual contributors over the last three months is yet another indicator of the groundswell of support building behind Kathy that is going to carry her to victory in November."

The campaign currently has more than $1.2 million in the bank.  Please note that second quarter totals combine the end-of-quarter filing with the pre-primary filing.
